Who Are We?

We are:
-Chef owned & operated.
-cooking fresh food daily on site, with a daily changing menu. Never dull, always delicious!
-as green as we can be and still offer you affordable wholesome food. We purchase organic whenever we can, we recycle what we can (thank you, Waste Pro!) , we compost what we can (thank you, The Compost Gardener & Heathcote Botanical Gardens!), purchase Certified Humane  and Certified Fair Trade whenever we can, renovated our space as green as we could, and always strive for our family to provide your family with the healthiest alternative that fits into your budget.
-as fast and convenient as any fast food restaurant.
-daily discounting all our food products 10% from 4:30pm-6:30pm.
-buying Fresh From Florida first, then USA, then international products. For example, we have the ONLY tea grown in the USA, Charleston Tea Plantation, fresh brewed here daily with local lemon juice (thank you, Natalie's!) and raw local orange blossom honey (thank you, Gruwell Apiary!). We also have boxes of their wonderful teas available for sale.
-stocked with other wicked cool beverages that are hard to find like GT's Synergy Kombucha, Marley's Mellow Mood, Steaz soda (green tea & vitamin based), Blue Sky soda (100% cane sugar & natural ingredients; caffeine free cola) and many more.
-available for caterings. please email info@snstakeout.com with all pertinent event info, ideally two weeks prior.

Scientists to discuss latest Indian River Lagoon research at Fort Pierce symposium

We are THRILLED to hear about the symposium!
Check out the article:
http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2012/feb/03/scientists-to-discuss-latest-indian-river-lagoon/

Very concerned about this, though:
‎"prevalence of the Haplosporidian parasite Bonamia in bivalves," all in the lagoon. (That last one apparently has something to do with bad little critters that can get inside oysters.)

Welcome 2012

‎"We travel together, passengers on a little spaceship, dependent upon its vulnerable reserves of air and soil, all committed for our safety to its security and peace; preserved from annihilation only by the care, the work, and, I will say, the love we give our fragile craft. We cannot maintain it half fortunate, half miserable, half confident, half despairing, half slave to the ancient enemies of man, half free in a liberation of resources undreamed of until this day. No craft, no crew can travel safely with such vast contradictions. On their resolution depends the survival of us all."

Renovating Fools

It does feel foolish to be in the middle of renovation during holiday season, but that's when the permit came through. We ask for your patience as we go through this trying period of overextension. It will be worth it in the long run, as the whole family will be closer to the restaurant and better able to help Chef prep ever more dishes. Meantime, we really are just happy to get through each and every day!

Giving Thanks

We are thankful for the farmers that grow the food we eat and for the customers that support us by purchasing the food Chef cooks.
